Attention !!

Just an update for all of you, I'm pretty much booked solid for 2 months which

is going to put me in through the holidays which I normally take some time off.

As always you can shoot me an email to see if I have anything in stock or if you

just want to go over some concepts of custom parts that you'd like to possibly have made.

I thank you all for your patience and for trusting me in being part of your projects and your closest friends ;o)

Dave

Custom Engraving

Under Construction!

Good News!

I now have started doing custom engraving (myself!)

These can be done in Black and White and White and Black Plastics and Anodized Aluminum and Brass.

I'll be putting up more information about this in the future but if you have any ideas you'd like to go over, I'd be happy to entertain them-

A few examples for you so far are shown below and to give you an idea of pricing for a black brushed anodized Jackson/Charvel Truss rod cover engraved with a symbol, Initials or words, you'll be looking at $20.00

I'll be able to do neck plates, rear covers, just about anything but it's a steep learning curve with all the new software I'm learning to use so this will be kind of a slow process. I know what you're thinking, isn't everything, when it comes to me making something? lol!

Now in Polished Brass and Aluminum!

Below are examples of Gloss and Brushed Black Plastic with a white bottom. This is a nice material because as you can see, I can get fairly detailed lines with this. Unfortunately laminated stock pickguard materials do NOT allow this type of detail because the top layer is too thick.

Now Some Engravings can be done in the thicker Laminate materials if the letters in the font are not very detailed:

Here are some examples of what I mean about too much detail when going too deep:

Noticed how "sloppy" they look?

Les Paul type switch plates.

These can be used on any guitar that has a switch thread of 1/2" or smaller.

These are made from plastic/vinyl sign material and is the original thickness of a standard Les Paul Switch Plate.

Any words can be used as long as I can fit them in the space available, so let me know your ideas-

For the plastic parts shown below, these will run around $10-$15 depending on what's being engraved.

A word on "Fonts" If you have a font in mind, don't hesitate to ask me if I can use it as it's always possible. There limitations when it comes to plastics because you have to engrave through a top layer of plastic and sometimes you just can't get very detailed fonts to come out looking correctly. Now anodized parts are a different story because they have only a layer of hardened color to get through and you can get a little more detail by using a finer pointed cutter.

Hopefully I can have a lot more information and details with pictures soon, to make things easier for everyone!
